Hey, here's an idea for a doll accessory. Are any of your AG dolls into Barbie? If so, the Dazzle dolls, manufactured by Mattel in the early 1980s and still fairly inexpensive on the secondary market today, are almost perfectly to scale. Dazzle dolls are really scaled-down Barbie dolls, they took the Barbie molds and shrunk 'em down to a mere 4 inches, which makes them just the right size for your girls to "play Barbie" with. If you're a bit crafty, you can even repaint and reroot the Dazzle dolls to look like different Barbie and friends dolls-perhaps your favorite 11.5" doll growing up?
Of course, if you're the anti-Barbie type, your girls can decapitate and torture them and cut their hair as well.
Glamour Gals dolls work as AG-sized fashies as well, but Dazzle's really look like miniature Mattel Barbie dolls.

I'd never seen those dolls before. You're right, they really do look just like scaled-down Barbies. Thanks for the recommendation!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">No, I am not anti-Barbie but my girls collect Historical AG's(the glass eyed mini dolls). They have Felicity, Kirsten, and are hoping for Addy.

The only odd-looking thing is on that the ones with the scaled-down version of the SuperStar facemold(to non-Barbie collectors, the Barbie facemold used from about 1977 to 1999/2000 with a big open-mouthed smile and a very turned-up nose, different from the current playline Barbie facemold), their heads are so small the whites of their teeth are hardly visible. It looks kind of funny, so I prefer the ones that use the closed-mouth "Steffie" facemold. Somehow Superstar Barbie's dopey smile is what makes her "Barbie"!
LOL, Prasblrd, maybe your girls could branch out into other types of dolls. After all, I used to say I would never buy a large-scale doll, next thing I know, Samantha is here, and I'm considering buying Felicity, Elizabeth, and maybe Josefina and Addy and the biracial AGT and Kit and Kailey and Marisol...(I think I'll stop at three AGs, but AG doll collecting is more addictive than meth!)
